Omg, happy September! Where did the time go? I'm sad summer is over, but I am all about the fall vibes. With that being said, these pumpkin spice date bliss balls are the perfect grab n go snack or post workout fuel. These bliss balls are packed with all the nutrient dense goods, such as rolled oats, organic pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, date nectar, hemp seeds, and more. They are super simple to make, and are sure to give you all the fall vibes. Plus, they are refined sugar free, along with gluten free and vegan.
RECIPE
Prep time: 10 minutes
Serving size: 14 balls
INGREDIENTS
1c gluten free rolled oats
1/4c pumpkin puree
10 dates
3tbs Georgia Grinders pecan butter or almond butter {code wellnesswithmak for 20% off}
1tbs pumpkin pie spice
1tbs hemp seeds + chia seeds
3tbs flaxseed meal
3tbs date nectar or raw honey
3tbs pumpkin seeds
METHOD
1. Add all ingredients to a food processor to pulse.
2. Once semi-smooth, but dates are still chunky, start rolling into balls. If too sticky, add some more rolled oats and mix with a spoon or your hands.
3. Throw in the freezer for 15 minutes to harden and store in the fridge for further storage.
