Pina Colada Greens Smoothie {gf,v}

The weather in New York has been treating us good, and it has me in full summer mode. This smoothie is the perfect taste of summer and sunshine! I made a little twist on the original Pina Colada flavor by adding greens and a few other superfood ingredients. This smoothie features the superfood powders: maca and matcha! You also will find other nutrient dense ingredients, such as banana, mango, pineapple, spinach, coconut water, pitted dates, and more. It's super simple, clean, energy boosting, refreshing, and has a ton of amazing benefits.

 
 

RECIPE

Prep time: 3 minutes

Serving size: 1


INGREDIENTS

1/2 frozen banana

1c mixed frozen pineapple + mango

1 handful baby spinach

1 pitted dates

1/2tbs cashew butter

1/2tsp maca powder

1/2tsp matcha powder

coconut water or coconut milk


METHOD

1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until desired consistency is reached. For a smoothie bowl, use only a little bit of coconut water.
