Shamrock Shake Greens Smoothie

I know there is a lot going on in this world: a lot of cancellations, closures, fear, and uncertainty, but one thing that is clear as day is this Shamrock Smoothie! I used to love the classic McDonalds shamrock shake when I was little, and still think it's so appealing to the eye. Being it's been at least 6 years since I've had one of those, I went with my gut for this one. However, I think this creation came out bomb. This smoothie has a nice boost of protein, pinch of mint, and perfect touch of vanilla flavor. I also added in the cacao nibs for a fun texture, and I think they pair nicely with the hint of mint flavor. I wasn't expecting to become addicted, but after a few experiments with the recipe, It's safe to say I am.
RECIPE
Prep time: 3 minutes
Blend time: 2 minutes
Serving size: 1
INGREDIENTS
1/2 frozen banana
1/4c frozen cauliflower
1 handful spinach
1/4 avocado
1 scoop vanilla protein
1tbs gluten free rolled oats
1tbs almond butter
1/2tsp: matcha powder & spirulina powder
A few drops of Simply Organic peppermint flavor
1/4c ice (optional)
1/2c nut milk
1tbs cacao nibs
METHOD
Blend all ingredients on high until all ingredients are broken down, smooth, and creamy. Top with additional cacao nibs and enjoy!
